Also known as redbush, rooibos is a uniquely South African crop in the family of South Africa’s indigenous fynbos – a diverse flora and fauna only found in the Southern Cape. Cultivated on the Babylonstoren farm, the leaves are then dried and brewed, and the tea has an herbal and fruity taste and distinctive red colour. Naturally sugar and caffeine free, rooibos tea is associated with a number of health benefits. Brew with freshly boiled water to the preferred strength and enjoy hot or cold.
