Our Story
Miniml is a Yorkshire based household brand, leading the charge in redefining eco-friendly cleaning products. A business founded by two young university graduates in 2020, Emma & Scott have set out to change the way people consume cleaning products to help foster a more sustainable future. Miniml believe eco cleaning, laundry and personal care products shouldn’t cost the earth, and that everyone should have access to the power of natural plant-based ingredients.
Eco-Friendly Ingredients:
At Miniml, we prioritise the use of natural, plant-based ingredients, all sourced ethically and as locally as possible. This ensures that our products are not only safe for people but also for the environment. As a highlight of our brand, Miniml products are 100% biodegradable, as well as certified Vegan & Cruelty-Free.
Closed Loop System:
Here at Miniml, we believe in refilling over recycling. With plastic waste being a growing issue in the UK and globally, we thought about ways to not only reduce the packaging waste but remove it from our supply chain completely. Through our innovative Closed Loop System, our refill containers are designed to be returned to Miniml HQ to be cleaned and re-used again and again...and again!
Ethical Production:
Our dedication to ethical production practices ensures that every Miniml product meets the highest standards of sustainability and quality. Currently, 80% of our factory is operating on solar power and an innovative power compressor, allowing us to power the industrial process more efficiently. With water being used for reusable packaging washing and in our formulations, our filtration system allows us to reuse the water multiple times and carefully monitor our wastewater limits. Such initiatives not only help us reduce our carbon footprint but also save production costs to help us keep affordable prices.
Impact and Recognition:
Since its inception, Miniml has achieved significant milestones. We've already saved over 6 million bottles from entering landfills and in 2023 alone, our Closed Loop System saved an astounding 273 tonnes of plastic waste. Our efforts have gained nationwide recognition, including acknowledgment as one of the fastest-growing zero-waste businesses in the UK and Best Buy by Ethical Consumer.
